Websites, whether they are online stores, portfolios, or just a place that holds information about your business, are super essential at making a brand feel whole. Websites allow you to bring your business to potential clients all over the world and really give your brand that legitimacy that many are looking for, however, starting a website can feel overwhelming and seem very complicated. For that reason, I have partnered with an amazing website designer to take that stress away, and in a LBL Fashion, made it affordable to small business owners to get one up and running!

Platform

Let’s talk about the platform your website will be built on- SqaureSpace. If you don’t currently have a website on SquareSpace, we will need to create a SquareSpace account for you. If you are not familiar with SquareSpace plans/pricing, please check this page out. Most of our clients start out with a “business” plan.

If you’ve never heard of SquareSpace, it is a website hosting platform that allows individuals to build out a website without having to hire someone to “code it”. In plain terms, once we are done with your website design (because really that’s the hardest part), you will be able to log in and manage your own website and update it as needed- it is very user-friendly and has great security and SEO features.

* Squarespace will be the most ideal platform for anyone who wants to showcase their business, or has a “small” store. If you are looking to build out a full store website, we recommend looking into Shopify, but at this time we do not offer help with Shopify.

Pricing

I want to make this process as fun and easy as possible. Therefore we have an all-inclusive price of $389 for a custom website design!

The design fee includes:

  • Initial phone consultation

  • Up to 6 hours of website design (additional hours can be purchased if we hit 6 hours at $40/hr).

  • Custom graphics

  • Help in setting up your domain to either communicate with or transfer over to SquareSpace

  • Cohesive Branding (colors, style, font,etc.) between your Logo and Website

* This price is only for the design of the website- you will need to separately purchase a SquareSpace plan, as well as a domain (if you don’t already have one).

  • Currently we are going to be taking on 2 clients a month. If you are interested in working with me on your website, please send us an intro email to booking@littleblacklogo.com.

    Tell us about yourself and what you are looking for in a website so we can determine if our services are a good fit!

  • Websites on average can be completed in 3-4 weeks, but it really depends on your communication as well as, whether or not you have a clear vision for your website. I will be capping design time at 4 weeks though so I can accommodate all clients. If your website is not finished within 4 weeks, I will continue working on your site, but there will be a lag on how quickly I can make the requested edits going forward. In essence that just means if we are not done in 4 weeks the process will further “slow”.

  • At the moment, we are only taking on clients who want to host and build their website through Squarespace.

  • If you currently do not have a SquareSpace, we will set one up for you by using your email address and a generic password. SquareSpace offers a free 2 week trial, and after that you will be prompted to enter your CC information. If you already have a SquareSpace website we will encourage you to create a generic password you don’t mind sharing with us for us to access it.

    I will share this password with you so that you can log in to add your CC when needed and see the progress on your site!

  • If it is hosted on SqaureSpace, yes! If it is not, unfortunately, we can’t work on it, but we will be happy to recreate it, or update it by bringing it over to SqaureSpace.

    If you feel like your website needs a refresh and is on another platform, I am happy to help you with a graphic pack. I offer graphics for $25 each or 5 for $100!

  • The cost of working with Little Black Logo is $389.

    This fee only includes the designing of your website and not your subscription to SquareSpace or the cost of your domain. Their plans start at 14/month if prepaid annually. Most of our clients opt for their “business” plan. You can check out their plans here.

  • If you think you want to work together, please send me an email at booking@littleblacklogo.com and tell me about your current website needs.

    After this initial email, I will set up a FREE consultation call with you to further go over your needs and talk about your timeline.

    After our consultation, if you choose to move forward with me, you will fill out a booking form and will be required to pay 50% of the $389 balance ($195 will be due at the time of booking). This deposit* will be paid through PayPal and applied to your total cost.

    Once you fill out the booking form and pay your deposit we will get you on the calendar. Throughout the process, you will have full access to your site at all times as your email will be used to set it up.
